You are welcome to visit us for as long as you like, but you will have the opportunity to become a member once you've been with us for a while.

We take membership seriously—we are committed to genuinely caring for all of our members and making them a part of our community.

Because we take membership seriously, we run a Membership Course for those who would like to be members. We do this so that we can have clear communication about what the community can expect of you and what you can expect of the community.

It's important to point out that membership isn't a contract for life! We do expect that people will leave to go to other churches and ministries and we look forward to sending people out to other work.

We do expect all our members to have made the decision to put their faith in Jesus.

Responsibilities of Members

• Pray for the church
• Live out expectations of the members covenant
• Be accountable to other members for their behaviour
• Be financially responsible to the church

Privileges of Members

• Know you are being pastorally cared for
• Have some say in the direction of the church
• Get to serve in formal positions in the community
• Have the community help to develop you to serve and grow in Christ
• Have access to our online community

The membership process:

• Attend our 5 session Membership Course. The last session is an interview that deals with the passions and desires of the candidate and their suitability to that ministry
• Endorsement of the candidate by the elders of the church
• Recognition of the new member by the church at one of the Sunday gatherings
